Varnish plant for the alternator stator fully automated

How it Works

The Varnishing Plant Consists of Base on which the Conveyor Chain moves along the above mentioned zones. The Conveyor Chain is specially designed to carry the mandrels (which are used to hold the armatures) in the bore made especially for this purpose. A motor with gearbox, which runs at 4.7 RPM, drives the conveyor chain. There is also spinner drive that ensures the mandrels are self-rotary.

Stage Name Description

The details are subject to change and customizable to orders.
1 Loading/Unloading The component is loaded in the mandrel assembly fixed onto the conveyor chain. The loaded component moves along with the chain to the various sections.
2 Pre-heating Consists of the Heater and the blower to heat the component at 200 Degree Celsius. When the Starter travels through this section, the component is heated for 160 Degree Celsius.
3 Trickling The Varnish is applied on the component using a trickle pump.
4 Baking The component is maintained at 200 Degree Celsius, for 30 - 40 so that the Varnish applied can be cured immediately.
5 Curing After Baking, the component is maintained at 200 Degree Celsius for 10 - 15 minutes in the curing section.
6 Cooling Blowing the air over the component cools down the component.
The advantages of this Equipment is as follows

1. Loading and unloading at the single place.
2. All the Sections are at the same equipment less man power, less maintenance.
3. There are no separate Trays needed since the component is loaded in the mandrel assembly and removed from the same.
4. Requires single operator to accomplish the task.
5. Occupies less space against the output it produces.
6. Avoid manual handling of varnish and reduces health hazards.
7. Uses IR Ceramic heaters, safety is maintained.
8. Self rotary mandrels to protect the varnish being distributed properly.
